Spring Awakening: Stirring from Slow Creation
As the earth begins to soften and stretch toward the warmth of the sun, I find myself stirring from my own season of slow creation. Winter held me in its quiet embrace, a whirlwind of deep work and gestation, but now, the call of spring is undeniable. I feel the energy shifting, whispering movement into my bones, yet I remain mindful of the transition—of the need to purge what no longer serves me and make space for what is ready to bloom.
With the Full Moon approaching on March 14th, I’ve been feeling a strong pull to release stagnant energy, especially in my lower stomach. This season of renewal is the perfect time to reset, so I have begun Ani Bartells’ Gallbladder Cleanse—a gentle yet powerful way to support my body as it prepares for the upward surge of spring energy. If you’re feeling the need for a cleanse yourself, here’s the link to her method.
This Full Moon may have you being pulled to more than just your bodily cleanse. Clearing out an old backpack, tidying up a junk drawer, or reorganizing a room—this act of physical decluttering creates energetic space for new abundance to enter.
Speaking of creation, I am so close to the final steps of Path of the Priestess, a mentorship designed to guide those who feel called to walk this sacred path of transformation. If you’ve felt the stirrings of this journey within you, or if you have questions about the program, let’s set up a call—I’d love to connect and support your unfolding.
Welcoming Ostara: A Ritual of Planting & Gratitude
With the Spring Equinox—Ostara—on the horizon, I want to share a simple yet powerful ritual that I practice with my children. It’s a beautiful way to honor the changing season, set intentions, and create something tangible from our gratitude and dreams.
What You’ll Need:
Seeds
Stones
Water
Dirt
A stick
A pot (or multiple small pots)
On Ostara, my sons and I gather and reflect on what we are grateful for. We also share something we’ve learned during the winter—sometimes it’s deep wisdom, and sometimes it’s something as fun as a new Pokémon strategy or how to tie a shoe! We plant our seeds with gratitude and speak our wishes for what we hope to grow in the coming months.
Then, we take our sticks and decorate them—painting, wrapping them in string, adding feathers, or gluing on small stones. These become our protection and connection sticks, symbols of our intentions and guardians of the new life we are nurturing. We place them in the soil alongside our seeds, anchoring our hopes into the earth.
Spring invites us to open, to expand, to step forward with clarity and purpose. As I walk this bridge between stillness and motion, I invite you to join me in honoring this awakening—within and around us.
With love and renewal,
Maggie R.
